These Heart Alphabet Phonics Puzzles are for KS1 children and are a fun way to teach the alphabet and phonics.
Materials:
7 heart-shaped puzzles, each with 4 sections.1 blank heart puzzle template included.
Each of the 4 sections in the hearts feature a letter sound and related colour pictures.
Children trace lines around the hearts and puzzle pieces for cutting.
Introduce each letter sound with its pictures.
Practice saying sounds and naming the pictures.
Cut along lines and re assemble hearts.

Extension:
Use a range of different sections from different hearts to form simple words.
