he 1905 Revolution and the October Manifesto is a fully resourced KS3 History lesson exploring the causes, key events and consequences of the 1905 Revolution in Russia. Students investigate the impact of Bloody Sunday, examine the pressures faced by Tsar Nicholas II, and evaluate whether the October Manifesto successfully resolved Russia’s problems. Through source analysis, historical interpretations, discussion and extended written tasks, students develop their understanding of change, causation and historical judgement. Designed using Rosenshine’s Principles, all resources are print-ready with retrieval practice, clear modelling, deliberate practice and opportunities for independent thinking.
