This resource contains 176 multiple-choice quizzes covering every single subsection of the Edexcel A Economics A-level specification.

Included are:

88 short quizzes (10 questions each)
88 longer quizzes (20 questions each)
2,640 questions in total

There are 1 short and one long quiz for every subsection of the specification.

The quizzes are available both as a downloadable resource here and online on Wayground, where they can be run live in class. Students can join using a QR code or game code, making them ideal for:

Starter and plenary activities
AFL (Assessment for Learning)
Topic revision
Homework
Independent student revision

When used online, every question includes an explanation of the correct answer. Teachers can also download student responses into Excel for further analysis.

The questions were developed with the assistance of AI, but every quiz was designed, tailored and checked against the Edexcel specification over many hours over a 6 month period to ensure each subsection was covered appropriately. While I took tried my best to ensure accuracy, there may still be the occasional error.

A “Read Me” document is included with full instructions for using the quizzes in lessons and suggestions for getting the most from the resource. I would highly reccommend having a read through this, it’s only a page.

This resource is completely free. Although several people suggested charging for it, I’d rather make it available to as many teachers and students as possible.
