In a week when millions turned out to vote in thelocal elections, and Scotland welcomed snow in May, 10 colleges came together to form the Research College Group, while shadow health secretary Jonathan Ashworth visited Bradford College.

Selby College celebrated the achievements of staff member Richard Carvey, East Coast CollegeprincipalStuart Rimmer looked ahead to the 91 FE awards, and Bournemouth and Poole College encouraged students to take part in a spot of bird watching.
