Kimbolton School is seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and committed team at the Preparatory School, who will be expected to work closely with teachers, to ensure that our children are supported and fully engaged with their learning and development and are encouraged to reach their full potential.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide individual support for pupils, listen to readers, support children within the classroom and assist with the wide range of extracurricular clubs that we offer, as well as a wide range of other duties. It is essential that the successful candidate have GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English, as well as previous experience of caring for or working with children across 3 – 11 years, and a commitment to the provision of high-quality childcare.

This fixed term contract runs until the conclusion of the academic 2026/2027 summer term.

About us

Founded in 1600, Kimbolton School is set within 120 acres of stunning grounds surrounding . We educate around 1,100 children aged 3–18 in a co-educational, predominantly day environment, with a vibrant boarding community for older pupils. Our and are located in and around the Castle, while Kimbolton is based to the west of the village.
