We're seeking an organised and enthusiastic Science Technician to support high-quality science education in a busy and successful secondary school.

Job Title: Science Technician

Location: Ash Green School

Salary: NJC Scale D point 3 – 4 FTE £24,796 - £25,185 (£21,327.31 -£21,661.89 pro rated for term time only)

Start Date: September/October

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: 37 hours, 08:00am - 16:00pm, Monday to Friday

About You: 

Ash Green School are seeking a proactive and reliable Science Technician to join our successful science department and play a key role in supporting outstanding teaching and learning.

Our Ideal candidate will have: 

• GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

• Level 3 qualification, A Level (or equivalent) in Science.

• Experience of general administrative duties.

• Experience of working in a busy environment.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.

• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and CLEAPSS.

• Working knowledge of general Science apparatus.
