The college requires someone who enjoys working in a busy environment with young people and adults, to join our Library and Study Centres Team. The hours are
11:30-6pm Mon-Thurs and 9.30-4 on Friday. This is a term time plus 5 days role.
Our Library and Study Centres Team is a team of six who work within the Library and two ICT spaces in the college. The team provide a welcoming and efficient enquiry service to both staff and students using the Library and Study Centres. You will assist with the College’s Teaching and Learning goals of supporting our students to become independent learners, aiding them with accessing resources and developing skills to support their studies. Resources are both physical and digital so you must be confident to make use of digital platforms and Microsoft applications.

Ashton Sixth Form College is the leading provider of 16-18 education in the area. The college is located in Tameside, Greater Manchester and supports around 2,000+ students on A-Level and vocational programmes. The college also offers a number of Adult and Higher Education courses.
