We are currently seeking a Design Technology Technician to join our dedicated Design and Technology department, supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Role Overview:
As a Design Technology Technician, you will play an important role in assisting teachers and the senior technician with the preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment used in practical lessons. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone interested in starting a career within education without prior experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of tools, materials, and workshop safety procedures preferred but not essential
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work independently
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills related to design technology equipment
- Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with staff members
