We are seeking an Administration Assistant to join our team at Newcastle Academy.

We have a clear, whole school approach to behaviour for learning, which is adopted by all staff and supported by leaders at all levels.  We are looking for someone who is dedicated and hardworking, and someone who enjoys, even relishes, a school environment.

Newcastle Academy  is an academy where we all strive for excellence. We have a real sense of community, and being part of the community is incredibly important to us. Our team approach is evident in everything that we do, and this has been a key factor in securing school improvement in recent years. Furthermore, Newcastle Academy is part of the Windsor Academy Trust where the support, guidance and cross-school work is of a high quality.

We firmly believe in the importance of all of our students achieving an excellent education, which in turn enables our students to believe that they can achieve their dreams with hard work, determination and self-motivation.

The value of being part of our team should not be underestimated, joining Newcastle Academy will mean that you will be part of a supportive and dedicated group of staff who will invest in your professional development. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your abilities and knowledge whilst working in a supportive environment in conjunction with other very dedicated and professional staff.

If you wish to discuss the role further please contact Sarah Rowell, People Partner, North Staffs & Stoke by emailing srowell@windsoracademytrust.org.uk

Closing date: 9am Monday 24th August

Interviews will take place on Thursday 3rd September

Newcastle Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of our students and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Newcastle Academy is part of Windsor Academy Trust. Our external Trust Partners include Keele University, Newcastle-under-Lyme College and Stoke City Community Trust.

This close collaboration ensures we can offer staff and students much more than any single school: expanded choices, additional extra-curricular provision and enrichment activities, access to training support and further opportunities and more specialist facilities.

We believe this collaborative approach supports staff in aspiring to our ambitious plans for the future. Students are exposed to wider experiences and staff have stronger networks. Best practice and new initiatives are communicated within the federation, and some of the challenges faced by DfE changes to curriculum and accountability can be addressed through internal systems and mutual working.
