This card task allows students to practice using negative numbers in context, and count forwards and backwards across zero.

Students are given 6 challenge cards to interpret and plot across a thermometer (number line to 50 to -25 degrees). There are 2 versions included: one with degrees celsius, and one with degrees fahrenheit.
