Here are the PowerPoints and accompanying booklet to delve into the legislation that made up the Equalities Act of 2010. Included are scenarios that are developed to initiate discussion and allow students to consider different aspects of the law and the application.

There are some key aspects to consider when using: -

Disabilities Act - consider the job when considering the legality of the scenario
Sex Discrimination - despite the scenario stating a job aspect, this would not be eligible to state a specific gender (this provokes lots of healthy discussion)
Race Relations - it is good to reference the controversy of the Black Panther movie cast when emphasising the need to consider the community

Most of teh other scenarios are generally easy to teach.
