English transition introduction lesson for Year 7 students that explores what the subject entails, as well as reflecting on what English means to each student. This lesson explores autobiographies and what an autobiography is, as part of a unit on the self and writing first person narratives. Ideal for new KS3 students starting at secondary school and can be used to build up to other units on writing and reading.

A wonderful first lesson to introduce Year 7 students to English in senior school. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the unit. Thank you!
