This 10 week Year 7 History unit introduces students to Ancient China through clear explanations, structured lesson sequences, and purposeful learning tasks. The program is built around eight modules that develop historical thinking skills progressively across the term. Students examine Chinese geography, society, leadership, belief systems, archaeological evidence, legacy, and historical inquiry, culminating in a summative research task supported by explicit writing instruction and exemplars.
