In this activity, students will examine the Silk Road as a network of trade routes that connected major civilisations across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe for over a millennium. They will explore the political, economic, and cultural forces that drove its growth and, ultimately, brought about its decline by the end of the 15th century.

It has 10 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
