A ready-to-use KS3 Science practical worksheet on Rocks and Metal Displacement Reactions for Year 9 (Rocks and Metal Reactivity, Pearson’s Exploring Science 8H, 8G and 9F).

The PowerPoint is fully editable, so you can reword the questions, change the quantities to match the equipment in your prep room, or drop your own diagrams in.

Apparatus used: balance, pipette, dropping pipette.

How I use it: students complete the sheet during the practical lesson and keep it as a revision record, so the write-up survives past the exercise book. Printing double-sided on A4 works well, or issue the whole booklet at the start of the year.
