In this activity, students will learn the basic timeline of Ancient Egypt from around 3100 BC to 30 BC, including why Cleopatra VII’s death led to Roman rule. Students will also learn how the Nile’s floods, fertile soil, and transport routes supported farming and travel, and how dynasties and the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms help historians organise Egyptian history.

It has 10 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
