This is a very engaging scheme of work for introducing students to fiction and non-fiction about environmental change, including Greta Thunberg speeches and The Decline of the Great Auk short story. Suitable for Y8 or Y9 students, as well as some GCSE groups.

Equally, it allows for group work, speaking and listening, as well as cross-curricular links.
