Group or paired task. The idea here is to create a logic puzzle (akin to a Suduko) that at the same time tests students’ understanding of the distribution of the sample mean.Suitable for KS5 (S1, S2) A filling-the-gaps-type 'puzzle' that makes sure students are happy with the mean and variance of the sample mean for a Normal distribution. A certain amount of number theory is required here too to find the unique answer.
