Introduces KS1 children to the concept of theology using a religion and worldviews (and multi-disciplinary approach) to teaching RE using the story Jesus blesses the little children. The lesson plan contains key knowledge (substantive and disciplinary), vocabulary, learning objectives as well as a starter, main and plenary. The lesson introduces the concept of theology using key disciplinary knowledge such as asking questions, thinking about context and different meanings.
