5 French Playscript Packs BUNDLE | Reading, Speaking & Listening, Writing

A bundle of 5 French play script packs. The packs come with French play scripts and English translations, ideal for small groups to practise and perform, and writing activities. Each pack has a different French play. Each play has six parts, so a class of 30 could rehearse different plays at the same time and then perform to the rest of the class. Each play script also comes with a writing task where pupils change the story. Scaffolding resources are included with each script to support pupils with different ability levels. These resources are ideal for mixed ability groups, enabling pupils with a range of learning levels to participate in the performances and writing activities. The resources are designed for pupils in years 5/6. The scripts are mostly or entirely written in the present tense. These materials can be used to teach the following National Curriculum languages attainment targets: • To listen attentively to spoken language and show understanding by joining in and responding; • To speak in sentences, using familiar vocabulary, phrases and basic language structures; • To develop accurate pronunciation and intonation so that others understand when they are reading aloud or using familiar words and phrases; • To present ideas and information orally to a range of audiences; • To read carefully and show understanding of words, phrases and simple writing; • To appreciate stories in the language; • To broaden their vocabulary and develop their ability to understand new words that are introduced into familiar written material; • To write phrases from memory, and adapt these to create new sentences, to express ideas clearly; • To understand basic grammar.
