Using formulae. Includes MS PowerPoint and worksheet. Focusing on common formulae needed for the Functional skills L2 exam.
Area of a rectangle = length x width A = lw
Volume = length x width x height V = lwh
Area of a triangle = ½ base x height A = ½ bh
Circumference of a circle = 2 x π x radius C = 2πr
Area of a circle = π x (radius)2 A = πr2
Volume of a cylinder = π x (radius)2 x h V = πr2h
Speed = Distance ÷Time S = D ÷ T
Density = mass/volume D = M ÷ V
Used for teaching functional skills Level 2 Maths for 16 to 18 yr olds, this is my 9th lesson in the functional skills level 2 curriculum.
Basic layout and slide design with accessibility in mind.
Suitable for GCSE preparation.
