These target cards are designed for use along side the NASSEA step system (1-7)

Each target card covers a range of English areas (speaking, listening and understanding, reading and writing)

The idea is that, after initial assessment to find out which step the child is currently on, they can be given the next step up to aim for. It guides the child, staff and parents in knowing what they next need to do in order to progress.
