This little video and associated materials helps students to make a spaceship and get it to move in Scratch. There is also a link to the completed game on Scratch which you might want to share. (No sound on the video, because my students don't have soundcards.) Hope it's useful. I've also included a link to the Games Based Learning section so that you can find more Scratch tutorials.

A great starting point for learners with a neat idea/example of a game they could try to emulate - and not too much obvious "telling what to do", there's enough open-endedness to develop higher level thinking skills.
