In this activity, students will learn how Ancient Egyptian society was organised into a strict hierarchy, from the pharaoh and senior officials to craftspeople, peasants, servants, and slaves. Students will also learn what each group did in daily life, how religion and writing supported the state, and what legal rights women could hold compared with other ancient societies.
