Reading Coloring Pages put 32 printable sheets of books, shelves, and quiet corners in front of your class. The pages are less crowded than a full library scene, so each object gets room to breathe.

Thirty two sheets covers a book week or a half term of reading rewards without leaving a stack of unused paper behind.

What Is on the Sheets

A ribbon banner unfurls across the top of one page with the word LIBRARY set inside it. Below sits a two tier shelf unit: books stand upright along the top edge and more lean together on the shelf underneath, every spine wearing a pair of dot eyes and a smile.

A stack of three volumes rests on the floor of the scene with a bookmark ribbon trailing from between the pages of the top one. Beside the stack an open book holds a face across its spread, and a mug with a curved handle grins up from the corner. A star lies at the bottom with closed happy eyes.

One sheet draws a book set on small wheels, like a trolley waiting to be pushed between the shelves. Another spells READ in tall hollow letters next to a shelf where a READ block sits among the spines. Hearts, circles, and four point sparkles fill the gaps.

Educational Benefits
  • Letter recognition is reinforced by the READ and LIBRARY lettering on multiple sheets.
    • Fine motor control is stretched by the thin bookmark ribbon and the narrow spines.
    • Comprehension talk starts easily when you ask what the books on the shelf might be about.
    • Sorting and classifying can be modeled using the shelves as a prompt.

    • Library skills lessons for younger classes
    • A reward page after a completed reading log
