Through all of my training, I have learnt some of the best provision to have out for EY Maths and the enhancements to add. However, every cohort is different and it needs to be adapted to suit. This is where my audit comes into play.

There are 7 rules to have meaningful maths (all on the document) and this is a simple checklist to assess your own provision and see where it needs to be adapted/enhanced.

I have included an example of how I complete it, though it’s usually something I have printed out, attached to a clipboard, and complete in pen whilst I’m in my classroom environment.
