In this activity, students will examine the life and voyage of Ferdinand Magellan, exploring how his expedition became the first to circumnavigate the globe. They will analyse the key events, obstacles, and outcomes of the voyage, and consider why Magellan continues to be credited with one of the greatest achievements in the history of exploration.

It has 14 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
