This worksheet is designed as an aid for students to practice using ASCII and Unicode following initial teaching of the topic.

The lesson starts out with a small activity where students will put their understanding of how ASCII Characters are stored consecutively into practice, followed by a small decoding activity where students will have to convert the binary value of each letter into Denary (Decimal) before looking it up on the attached ASCII table and Finally moving onto calculating file sizes for given strings.

Attached is the worksheet and answer documents - for best results, print the worksheet as a booklet on A4 and you will end up with a foldable booklet that glues perfectly into student exercise books.
